Reggie McKenzie was born in Detroit, Michigan attending Highland Park High School before moving on to the University of Michigan where he played football from 1969 – 1971 and was a consensus All-American in 1971. McKenzie was drafted in the second round of the 1972 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. He was a key member of the Bills offensive line, known as the “Electric Company” that set NFL records for rushing yardage in a season. During his eleven years with the Bills, he was selected to the NFL All-Pro team on three occasions. He finished out his thirteen-year career with the Seattle Seahawks, in all, he appeared in 171 games, starting in 169. Reggie McKenzie was inducted the College Football Hall of Fame in 2002, the University of Michigan Athletic Hall of Honor in 2004 and was inducted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame in 1994.
