Rick Comley
A hockey All-American at Lake Superior State, Comley went on to coach the Lakers followed by nationally-recognized coaching jobs at two other Michigan universities. First, he coached at Northern Michigan, where he led the Wildcats to the Frozen Four in 1980 and 1981 and National Championship in 1991. In 2002, Comley took on the challenge as head coach at Michigan State, where he led the Spartans to the 2007 National Championship. Retired from coaching in 2011, he resumed his career as Athletic Director at Northern in 2022.
