

Larry Foote
Recruited out of Detroit Pershing High School, Foote was a defensive leader at the University of Michigan from 1998 through 2001. He started 28 games at linebacker where he recorded more than 200 tackles, including more than 50 behind the line of scrimmage, and 11 sacks.
Big Ten coaches named him first team All Conference in 2000, and he was consensus first team All Conference in 2021, when he won the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and Michigan’s Roger Zatkoff Award as the program’s top linebacker.
Drafted in the NFL Draft’s fourth round in 2001 by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Foote won two Super Bowls as a professional, including Super Bowl XL in his hometown of Detroit. After seven years with the Steelers, Foote went on to play for the Detroit Lions, a second stint for the Steelers and a year for the Arizona Cardinals.
Since 2015, Foote has worked as a NFL coach and is currently a defensive coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
