Jack Roush was born in Covington, Kentucky. After graduating from Berea College and Eastern Michigan University, Roush went to work for Ford Motor Company and then Chrysler before leaving to start his own engineering company. Roush is founder, CEO and Co-owner of Roush Fenway Racing and Chairman of the Board of Roush Enterprises. Roush went on to partner with Wayne Gapp to race in NHRA, IHRA and AHRA drag racing events. His team has won eight National Championships in NASCAR’s top three series, with 283 NASCAR wins as a team owner. Jack Roush was inducted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2006 and was inducted the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.
