Dawn Riley
A native of Detroit and resident of St. Clair Shores, she is the most honored woman in the history of United States sailboat racing. Riley served as a team captain, skipper and America’s Cup crew member and competitor in around-the-world races. A graduate of Michigan State University’s Riley’s sailing career also includes time as an America’s Cup boat general manager from 2004 to 2007 and first place in 1992 in the Women’s Cup in Italy.
