Presented by Meijer, the Induction Ceremonies took place on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 6 p.m. at the Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit.
“The Class was selected by an election Task Force and statewide committee, comprised of current and former journalists and former sports executives, along with a public on-line vote. The class was ratified by the Hall’s Board of Directors, which also selected the inductee from the Contributor category. This year’s Task Force was co-chaired by retired University of Michigan Sports Information Director Bruce Madej and Detroit News Sports Reporter Tony Paul.”
